Director’s Statement
What if members of the LGBTQ+ community never had to step out of the closet—because we never had to be in it in the first place? That’s the world I wanted to bring to life on stage, and now I’m thrilled to expand that vision for the screen. Imagine a universe where equality isn’t questioned, where sexual orientation doesn’t exist as a boundary, and people are simply who they are—born fabulous and powerful.
In reworking the script, I stayed true to Wilde’s razor-sharp wit and timeless storytelling, but reimagined it through our lens—making it not just a revival, but a fresh vision of what his work can mean today. It’s both faithful to the original and unapologetically ours, shaped into a universe where love is free, joyful, and limitless.
Our version ran successfully for over two years, proving its resonance with audiences.
